Morillon even more accessible in 2013- Since summer 2011, you can access directly to Les Esserts by the cable car.
- Welcome to "Tatu Handi Giffre" a new association in Morillon: handisport material management, project of a "handisport" chalet
- New : The restaurant "Chalet d'Clair" (top of Morillon) has now a wheel chair available for disable skier willing to have a drink or some food.
Lessons last for 2 consecutive hours at least. The charge is that of individual lessons. As the number of chairs is limited, it is of utmost importance that you get in touch with us as soon as possible in order to determine and book the type of material adapted for your handicap.
SKI
Park right in front of the gondola on the reserved places, get into the gondola and access directly to the seat ski at the top. Then, the access to the next chairlift "Sairon" is easy and you are ready to ski the whole mountain!For beginners, the green run "Marvel" (6km) is well adapted with various terrain and a beautiful landscape.
After that, the blue run called Sairon is wide and easy.
Then on the Grand Massif resort, you'll find other types of chairlifts and slopes to work in autonomy and to have fun.
New toilets on the slopes at the top of the chairlift Molliets.
SKI PASS
The ski resort offers 50% off when you show the disable card.
GEAR AVAILABLE
The non-profit organization «tatu handi giffre» gives you the right to use the several seat ski available in Morillon (registration: 20€):
- A tandem ski : this is a kind of kart driven by a ski instructor to discover the ski resort.
This is aimed to all kind of people willing to ski in family, in groups or simply for the pleasure. - A dual driven : This is a smaller kart for anybody under 60kg, to discover the ski area, driven by a ski instructor.
- A Kart-ski : this is a wonderful machine aimed to offer lots of autonomy, fast learning, and instant pleasure for unbalanced disable people.
- A uniski : A kart for a total autonomous seat ski learning. Within a week, you will be able to ski down an easy slope by yourself.

THE SKI SCHOOL : ESF
Our five specialized instructors will help you in your activity : discovery, learning... Lessons last at least 2 consecutives hours. The number of seat ski available is limited, thus it is important to contact us as early as possible in order to evaluate the machine that would suit you best.
You will need to join one of the non-profit organization (Samoens handi glisse ou Tatu handi glisse) to benefit from the free seat ski rental.
We are also qualified to ski with people with a mental disability.

Off opening day, you can contact Bruno, ski instructor in Morillon ski school specialized in skiing for disable people, by email : bpezet@orange.fr. He will give you the information you need to reassure you and to explain the process.
You can as well contact Franck, a dual-skier, student in Morillon ski school, who will be happy to answer you questions. Specify "disable skiing" in the message object of your email and send it to bouzereau@sfr.fr

Odalys Residenceapartments 01, 02, 03, 04 ground floor, little car park in the same level, or disable car park 50m away without step. Very clean.
The + : wheel chair access, at the top of the ski resort and easy come back, directly through the ski pass counter access.
The - : Only a bath (with handle bar).
CHALET « ETERLOUS N° 3 » :
modern apartment, spacious, owned by a client, father of Jeremy, a tandem skier.The + : easy wheel chair access and living, spacious rooms, sink OK, no steps, ground floor in front of the sled slope, direct come back from the ski slopes.
The - : bath (with handle bar), located bellow the ski lift access 100m (start on skis more challenging)
CHALET « CITELLES N°5 » :
France Location Residenceapartment quite spacious, clean, elevator access, car park at 40 m.
The + : spacious, bathroom ok, double bedroom ok with armchair.
The - : bath (with handle bar), difficult use of the bathroom sink, step to the terrasse, located bellow the chairlift access.
CHALET « CITELLES N°10 »
France Location Residence: Same as Citelle n°5 but without adapted sink(usual sink).CHALET « GRAND MORILLON » :
France location ResidenceApartments n° 1 et 2, quoted « wheel chair access ». Apartment less spacious than Buet, Eterlous and Citelles.
The + : Easy access to the Sairon chairlift (200m), to the Sherpa supermarket, to the restaurant, and sport shop.
Elevator access to the garage (adapted public toilet).
Easy access to the bakery, Sport 2000 and Intersport.
The - : Narrow path in a corridor
Bath, difficult access to bathroom sink, no low cupboard in the kitchen.
RESIDENCE « LE JARDIN ALPIN» :
very beautiful apartment, high standing, with disable agreement.The + : Agreement, swimming pool, hammam, indoor carpark with elevator directly to the apartment, direct come back on skis.
The - : Access in swimming pool with steps, difficult access to sauna, ground level to access the shops but with steps, located bellow the start of the chairlift (100m).
RESIDENCE «BEST WESTERN»
Residence of tourism recently opened. Built in 2010 with accessibility standards. Ground access on the courtyard side. Elevator access from the underground parking. Lobby "living space". 3 bedrooms "disabled" (in shower, wc release, ...), all other rooms are available (good door size, room to move). Located in the village.Les + : Very accessible, swimming pool, easy access.
Les - : 6 kilometers away from the first ski lift.
HOTEL « LE MORILLON »
Family hotel in the heart of the village of Morillon. Very good travel start. Accessible by car, pool level, then lift, beautiful "disabled" room (bathroom for wheelchair, bed with evolution).Les + : Charming hotel, easy movement at all levels (except sauna-steam room).
Les - : 2 steps to access the pool, stairs to the spa, 6 km from the slopes.
« L’EDEN » Residence
New residence located in Morillon 1100 in the ground floor of a building. Easy access (Building regulation 2010)The + : Direct access to the slopes.

Located in Taninges, a 10 min drive from Morillon.Very beautiful lodge, easy access (normalized in the coming spring), with swimming pool.

ACCESS
Access to Morillon Village by the national road from Cluses, very good shape.New 2011: park your car in front of the bottom of the gondola (Morillon Village) and go up the gondola. Direct transfer to the slopes for skiing.
Access to the ski resort (elevation: 1100m) through the national road in very good shape as well. Be careful on a snowy day : chains must be carried. (Another alternative is to use the gondola but the access is tricky : 20 steps on the bottom station, and 3 steps on the top one to access to the ski gear, and then, direct access to the chairlift.
In Morillon Les Esserts, 1100, disable car park at the top, next to the résidence « Les Verdets ». Direct transfert depending of the amount of snow, same level as the skipass counter, chairlift. Easy come back access on skis.
